Membership Dues for Curb Painting Deadline is Today

Today is the deadline for gratis street number curb painting.  You may have noticed on the yard sign at the Frankford and Voss entrance that we are still short of our 155 member goal.

If you are planning to join or renew your membership in the Regency Park Home Owner Association, know that your dues are primarily used to pay for the maintenance (insurance, landscaping, repairs) of the brick privacy wall surrounding our community along Frankford and along Midway.

Firemen Feast August 8, 2018

It’s time once again to supply dinner to our Station 10 firemen.  We are on their calendar for Wednesday, Aug 8th.

This event will follow a “Salad” theme this time since large heavy meals are probably better for cooler weather times!  If someone has a better idea, please speak up!

Suggestions include Chicken salad, Tuna Salad, potato salad, pasta salad, veggie salad, lettuce salad, fruit salad, etc.  Cheese and crackers. Dessert.  Maybe rolls for the chicken and or tuna salad.

Please let us know at regencyparkdallas@yahoo.com if you would like to participate.  A volunteer will be collecting dishes between the hours of 3:00pm and 5:45pm on Aug. 8th for delivery to the station by 6:00pm.  If you need your container returned to you after the meal, please label with your name and address.

Thanks for always being generous with your cooking talents and time!

Noise Mitigation

Residents, please note this demonstration performed by the DART staff.  The purpose is to show the difference in sound mitigation between 12-foot walls and 15-foot walls.

To tie things back to our own neighborhood, the 8-foot walls that your dues go to maintain do provide sound and noise dampening!

Membership Drive Yard Sign

By now, many of you will have seen the yard sign posted at the entrance on Voss and Frankford.  We hope that the yard sign will serve as a reminder to homeowners who are intending to pay their dues, as well as provide some transparency into the membership counts of the organization.

As of July 12, 2018, 71 members have paid dues.  This brings us to almost the half-way point to our goal of 155 members in order to provide free address number curb painting.

Independence Day Lawn Flags 2018

A neighbor in the HOA has generously donated lawn flags to celebrate Independence Day.

Volunteers will be distributing flags prior to July 4 to all HOA members from 2017 and any new members in 2018.  The donation was designated to be a benefit for HOA members.

Please leave your flags out, as volunteers will be collecting them on Friday July 6 for future use.

Curb Painting Count Update

We have just reached 40 dues-paying members, but are still short of our goal of 155 members by July 31, 2018 in order to offer curb-painted address numbers.

Thanks to everyone who has participated thus far.
